Some Old Yellers and Some Old Friends are joining forces to celebrate the music of Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead for the McMenamins Kingdom Annual Celebration of Jerry’s Birthday. A Trio of Old Yellers including Michael Berly on Guitar and Tim Connell on Mandolin will be doing original music and Irish traditional songs in celebration of our Deep Roots and love or our Irish heritage at the fantastic Old Church in Wilsonville.

The band heads out to the Grand Lodge and the Garage Door Stage to celebrate the St. Patricks Day weekend. Join us for some great music, food, drinks and revelry as we celebrate good times.

The Original Old Yellers Trio, Tim Connell mandolin, Matty V. TRAIN RIVER is a great bluegrass band collective that was started by Portland Musician (now in Aiicje Mexico) Jeffree White. I have played with them on and off for a number of years and Jeffree is going to be in town this coming week and we will be doing a show at the new and very cool COVERT CAFE and BAR on SE 82nd ave. (See address below). We will have fiddle, mandolin, bass, guitars and probably banjo. It is going to be a hoot, come on out and support the music. NO COVER but TIPS are greatly appreciated.

The Old Yellers will be doing our Monthly Third Thursday Residency at the Fantastic Winery at the McMenamins Edgefield. A truly fun place to spend some time. Come early and golf, stay late and eat drink and be merry, if you can’t leave, they got a hotel and breakfast the next day.
